Temple FAQ

“Ask, and you will receive clarity. Seek, and the Temple will not hide her face from you.”

Is this a church?

No — the Zahara Temple™ is not a church. It is a sacred house of restoration and remembrance, a spiritual archive built for the exiled heart. We hold no denomination and no hierarchy. The Temple teaches that your own healing is holy ground.

Do I have to be religious to belong here?

Not at all. You only need to believe that your story matters. Whether you come from faith, doubt, or both, the Temple welcomes you as you are. Our language is sacred, but our invitation is human.

What is the Exiled Black Bible™?

The Exiled Black Bible™ is the living canon of the Temple — a 54-Book body of scrolls, teachings, and testimony written for those who were silenced in scripture. It does not replace the Bible; it reveals the parts that were never told. Each scroll reclaims a fragment of voice, body, and divinity.

Where does the money go when I donate?

Every offering fuels the sacred infrastructure of the Temple. Scroll proceeds and donations fund Haven House™ — our first physical sanctuary for survivors of domestic and spiritual violence in North Carolina. Healing here is not charity; it’s construction. Every gift raises a wall.

Can anyone read the scrolls?

Yes. The scrolls are written for all who have lived through exile — emotional, spiritual, or generational. While they center Black and Brown women’s voices, their truth belongs to every human being searching for wholeness.

What are the Seven Circles?

They are the spiritual rhythm of return — Awakening, Purging, Healing, Ordering, Wisdom, Liberation, and Divinity. Each circle is a stage of becoming that guides the exiled heart back to God. They are not taught in haste; they unfold through the scrolls themselves.

What are the Wings?

The Wings are the unseen currents that move the Temple. They hold the Volumes of the Exiled Black Bible™ and connect each Book, Circle, and Sanctuary. Their names will be revealed in time — when the Temple expands its flight.

How can I stay connected?

Subscribe to The Temple Post on Substack for weekly scrolls, teachings, and updates from the Sanctuary. You can also find the Temple’s voice on TikTok and Pinterest under @TheZaharaTemple.
